My photography journey started in 2005 after leaving the constant travel life of the music industry. I took a college course to learn how to use my camera and stayed for 2 years!
I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Great Smoky Mountain Photographers. I continue my photography education each year by attending several professional conferences all over the country as well as teaching workshops in my west Knoxville studio.
From the first email to the final album & art delivery, you will be guided & assisted in each step of this journey with the personal service of a seasoned professional. I believe wholeheartedly that your images should be printed, shared, displayed, passed down, and loved - not stored on a hard drive.
With years of experience and a portfolio of published work, I bring a wealth of expertise to ensure your photos are nothing short of perfect! You can trust that your memories are in capable hands.
I am licensed & permitted to photograph in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ijams Nature Center, UT Gardens, and Knoxville Botanical Gardens. Looking the perfect venue or location for a wedding or a photo session? Just ask!

I AM:
- the one behind the lens that is bigger than my face
- a Certified Professional Photographer,
awarded by Professional Photographers of America (PPA)
- a wife and girl mom X 2
- a proud lighting nerd
I LOVE:
- my morning coffee
- dance, theatre, music, and all things artsy
- living in the beauty of east Tennessee
- UT Football!
My husband and I have been married since 2002 and have 2 of the most beautiful blonde kids you've ever seen (I'm not biased at all).
We spent 6 long years dealing with infertility, and I have a real soft spot for couples who struggle with it.
Photography is my second career. I have a degree in music business management and toured for years with music artists.
My first loves are music and dance, which is why if there's a beat, I'll be dancing!
I once shot a wedding on my due date. I took along a packed hospital bag and backed into a parking space at the wedding venue in case I had to "exit stage right" quickly.
Imagine those swollen cankles at the end of the night!
When I am not working, I like to travel, spend time with my kiddos, and attend photography workshops and conferences to further my education.
I have a tendency to be a lighting nerd...don't hold it against me!
I've had the honor of having images published in Shutter Magazine, Pink Bride Magazine (cover), and many wedding blogs.
