I'm the one behind the camera that is bigger than my face.
Since 2007, my mission has been to capture every precious moment, both candid & posed, without being obtrusive. Each image should take you right back to that emotion for years to come.
You will spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than anyone else, so make sure whomever you choose, you have a good connection with. My goal is to spoil my clients with amazing images, of course, but also to create a calm environment by having a positive attitude & servant spirit. I've been known to sew a bride into her gown when the zipper broke or help dry off guests' seats when the rain gods finally took a nap!
An SB couple will have a different experience; I specialize in providing brides & grooms with a full service wedding photography experience. That means from the first email to the final album & art delivery, you will be guided & assisted in each step of this journey with the personal service of a seasoned professional. Designing timeless wall art & heirloom albums to cherish & pass down to loved ones is my passion. I believe wholeheartedly that your images should be printed - not stored on a hard drive for years.
I am licensed to photograph in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I can recommend the perfect Smoky Mountain wedding venue for an elopement or the ideal spot for a photo session. Just ask.
My clients usually become lifelong friends, so let's just go ahead and start this love fest!
My husband and I have been married since 2002 and have 2 of the most beautiful blonde kids you've ever seen
(I'm not biased at all).
We spent 6 long years dealing with infertility, and I have a real soft spot for couples who struggle with it as well as miscarriage.

Photography is my second career. I have a degree in music business management and toured for years with music artists.
My first loves are music and dance, which is why if there's a beat, I'll be dancing!
I once shot a wedding on my due date. I took along a packed hospital bag and backed into a parking space at the wedding venue in case I had to
"exit stage right" quickly.
Imagine those swollen cankles at the end of the night!
When I am not working, I like to travel, spend time with my kiddos, and attend photography workshops and conferences to further my education.
I have a tendency to be a lighting nerd...don't hold it against me!
I've had the honor of having images published in Shutter Magazine, Pink Bride Magazine (cover), and many wedding blogs.
