I am so happy to share Aimee and Montana’s fall wedding at The Cedars at Carr Farm in Cedar Hill, TN.
The Cedars at Carr Farm is a new wedding and special event venue just north of Nashville. Not only is the property itself picturesque, but the barn was built specifically with such events in mind. The bridal suite is enormous and boasts salon-syle mirrors which every bridal party needs. Natural, soft light pours into the space which is a dream for photographers and makeup artists as well! The guys are also able to relax in the Groom’s Quarters with a giant TV and a pool table. I truly enjoyed working with the staff and coordinators — they know their stuff and made everything flow seamlessly. It’s all about timing – just like Aimee and Montana’s love story.
The couple knew each other from high school and fell in love after a jeep ride with family.
“We started dating and we were crazy about each other. But God wasn’t quite ready for us to together back then…Throughout the years we would find our way back to each other but the timing was never right. Finally after I graduated college and we both got out of those relationships that we never should have been in we started talking again. And this time is was God’s perfect timing.” – Aimee
This was my last wedding of the year and it could not have been more lovely! You never know about the weather in November here in Tennessee. It could be 70 degrees or we may be building snowmen to stand in as extra groomsmen. Lucky for Aimee and Montana, it was a very mild day with a stunning sunset! Their outdoor wedding on the farm was perfectly decorated for fall in neutrals, greens, and deep wine hues. Sentimental touches were everywhere from Aimee’s bouquet, which was wrapped with the sleeve from her mother’s wedding dress and adorned with her grandmother’s & mother’s rings, to aisle markers of galvanized pails full of soybean branches from her father’s farm.
I loved the apple cider station set up next to the outdoor fireplace! It became a prime gathering spot for guests to hang out and stay warm once the air got chilly after sunset. My other favorite was the dessert table filled with cakes, pies, and goodies brought by family and friends for everyone to enjoy.
It was a fabulous wedding to end 2017. Thanks for having us and congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Jones!
