Alicia & Alex 5.30.08

Weddings

July 2, 2008

Alicia is a rockstar.  Alex is armed forces.  Together, they had a wedding I’ll never forget!  The ceremony took place at the Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett Center on Vanderbilt campus in Nashville, and the reception was held at The Cannery Ballroom.  Alicia blessed us with a few hours before the ceremony for the entire bridal party of 14 to take group photos around downtown.  Although it was 95 degrees and the guys were in tails, gloves, and top hats, everyone was fabulous and laid back.  We had the BEST time!

I have to give a shout out to some awesome people who allowed us to use their services and/or facilities for photos…YOU GUYS ROCK!  Sandy Dunkley with Nashville Trolley Tours was great enough to allow us on an empty trolley to take photos.  While getting the group situated, Jim McGonagle, general manager of Hard Rock Cafe invited the entire crew inside the restaurant for some shots (both photographically and alcoholically speaking!) which was perfect for this music-loving couple!  Mike’s Ice Cream Shop was an awesome backdrop for “shake-sharing”–thanks for cooling us down, guys!  And finally, John Ward with Mid-South Mobile DJ’s kept our booties shaking all night on the dance floor.

Here are some of my favorite highlights!
