All Saints Catholic Church Wedding in Knoxville
Theresa + John
As with many weddings in 2020, I was starting to wonder if this one was going to happen. With Covid-19 running rampant mixed with the general stress of wedding planning, Theresa and John had to change their wedding date and reception venue about 4 times. But love wins, as it always does, and the two decided on a smaller, safer All Saints Catholic Church wedding in Knoxville, TN, with a socially distant reception under the church’s outdoor pavilion.
From Co-workers to a New Year’s Eve Proposal
Theresa ran the apparel-freight department for a popular sports & outdoors store in Knoxville when John was hired and became her partner. They quickly became besties, started dating, and fell in love. John planned a game night with their friends and family on New Year’s Eve. At midnight, he proposed. Theresa happily said, “Yes!”
The Wedding Day
We had a lovely, sunny, fall day in Knoxville. Theresa & John chose their home church for their Catholic ceremony with family and friends. I loved the color scheme of soft mauve, Quartz, and rose gold. The bride’s accessories rocked, especially her lace mask and shimmery rose gold Vans. Yay for comfort! My favorite memories from the day were watching John’s beaming smile as Theresa walked down the aisle, how tightly he hugged her after their first dance, and the kindness of both their families.
Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Lowell!
