It’s so great to be around a couple who are completely comfortable with each other. Allison & Blake love to laugh and enjoy time with their friends and family, and their Middlesboro, KY wedding was no different. It was a rainy day but the clouds and foggy mountains gave us a gorgeous backdrop for photos during the reception!
Allison chose purple and white hydrangeas, purple accents and dark silvers and gunmetal grays for her bridesmaids. Of course, I LOVE her royal blue shoes!
This sweet bride was gracious enough to provide wonderful wedding vendor information that I will post along with her images. See their lakeside engagement session here.
“The hairdresser that did all the girls hair was Laura Floyd. My sister and I have been going to Laura for so many years. She works at Salon Resolutions in Knoxville and made the trip over an hour away. Having her there meant so much to me and made me more comfortable. It allowed all the girls to be together while getting ready, which made the day even more special. Over the years she has definitely became more of a friend than anything else. She actually did my makeup that day also which was perfect!!!”
“I bought my bridal gown at Wedding Wonderland in Knoxville. The staff there were absolutely wonderful and supportive. They were recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend them to any bride in the future. My bridesmaid gowns were purchased at White Lace and Promises in Knoxville.”
“We used Judy’s Florist in Tazewell, TN. They actually supplied the flowers for my sister’s wedding eleven years ago. They were very accommodating especially since I did a large portion of my planning from over two hours away. I actually only meet with them one time and the rest of the communication with them was over the phone. They supplied the flowers exactly to how I had specified them and I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion.”
” All the men wore suits that most of them already owned. This made it more comfortable for them and actually tuxedos just weren’t our style. ”
“The wedding was at Binghamtown Baptist Church where I am a member. I would have not had it at any other site. It made the day even more special having it there having it before God and all of our family and friends. Also the officiant was my preacher, William Boyd Bingham, who is one of the most important people in my life.”
