The first beautiful, warm day of the year—perfect for a wedding! Brittany and Darian were married at Davis Chapel Community Baptist with a reception following at The Stables in LaFollette, TN. The day was like a family reunion since Britt is my second cousin. I remember when she was born…wow I feel old!
Brittany chose spring greens and pinks for her colors. She says picking out the colors and attire for herself and her maids was her favorite part of the wedding planning process. Her gown, the maids dresses and the tuxedoes came from I DO Weddings.
Brittany’s florist was her grandmother, Sheila Goins.
I adore this photo of Darian and his little brother right after the ceremony. The poor boy just cried and cried. It was precious!
The cake was by Joan Hill.
The Stables is an AMAZING event facility in LaFollette! It is decorated in an old west theme.
Brittany and her maids did a choreographed routine for the guests, including the robot!
All hair was done by Elizabeth Shepherd and makeup was by Kim Oakes, both at Villa Salon in Jacksboro, TN.
Catering was by Ramsey’s Catering.
- Here are a few things Brittany wanted to share with future brides:
The most memorable moment of your wedding day? “When they announced us Mr. and Mrs. Darian Foust!”
What you would change, if anything? “I wish we would have had a videographer.”
Where your budget was best spent? “The Stables/Catering.”
Any advice for future brides? “Start early! Don’t stress..yeah right..you will stress but it will all be worth it in the end! :)”
