Bronte + Joey’s vintage wedding at Remedy Coffee in downtown Knoxville ~ Knoxville Wedding Photographer

Weddings

January 19, 2014

The three words I have for Bronte & Joey’s wedding:  VINTAGE EYE CANDY!

Their wedding ceremony and reception was held at Remedy Coffee in the Old City, downtown Knoxville, where decorators Sharon Horn and Rachel Reeve filled the back room of the coffee house with antique furniture, lace & burlap wrapped bottles, adorable chalkboard signs and a homestead full of antique furniture and decor.  There were even antique tea cups filled with purple heart shaped sugars.  Well, I do declare!

There were simply too many cute details to mention.  Bronte & Joey love game nights with their friends, so they had each guest write a sentiment on a single Jenga game piece instead of a traditional guest book.  From the “chocolate milk ceremony” (instead of a unity candle) to the flambe’d s’mores with Benton’s Bacon (yes–that’s right), this wedding was full of fun and surprises!

**  A few words from the bride, Bronte: **

Favorite and least favorite part of planning?

“My favorite part was finding my dress and my least favorite part was deciding on a location.”

Most memorable moment of your wedding day?

“Our first dance.”

What you would change, if anything?

“I don’t think I would change anything.”

Any advice for future brides?

“Don’t stress out! If you ask for help, you’ll be amazed at how many people are willing to help you out.”

    Beautiful wedding and so unique

  2. Jennifer says:

Looks beautiful! I’m actually looking at having my wedding here. Any advice?

    • Shanell says:

Hi Jennifer! It was a great venue. I don’t remember the bride having any issues. The room where the girls got ready was large but pretty dim for putting on makeup. They actually did that in my studio next door.
