So there’s something to note about me. When you say you’re having a “retro comic book themed wedding,” I’m in.
I’m like, all in.
These two met in high school and after some pushing (literally) from friends, they finally gave dating a go and have been inseparable ever since. Caleb’s proposal to Courtney was one for the books (again, literally):
“He wrote one of those stories where you have to pick your choices along the way … So you basically feel like you’re in the story. Well he got all of our friends together for a ‘surprise.’ Once we were all gathered he announced it was the first book club meeting (such a nerd) and that I had to read the first book. The story ended up being the story of us meeting and little events all along the way from his perspective with funny choices thrown in. I, of course, barely made it through the last page from crying and when I looked up he was down on one knee! Now here we are. God has continually blessed us in more ways than we can count! Couldn’t be happier!” ~ Courtney
Courtney and Caleb were up for anything for their engagement photo session, which was great considering the only spots in town that resemble Gotham City have the tendency to be a bit smelly and dirty. They brought the comic books, I brought the Snuggie that I thought was a blanket. Whoops!
