Faith Promise Church Wedding in Knoxville
-Zach + Kelly-
When Drummers Marry…
When I think of traditional churches, I think of arches, pews, bad carpet and even worse lighting. But when you photograph a drummer’s wedding who, like Zach, has strong ties to his contemporary church and performs most weekends on a concert-ready stage, church weddings get much more interesting! My lenses felt right at home with the haze and moving lights. I give you Zach & Kelly’s Faith Promise Church Wedding in Knoxville.
Windy Day – Dreamy Sunset
It rained on and off all day, but the weather ended up beautiful although quite gusty “on the hill” at Faith Promise Church. Luckily, Zach & Kelly were an easy going bride and groom, and we rolled with the wind and worked around the rain throughout the day which ended with a photographer’s dream sunset.
Coral & Gray Color Scheme
Zach & Kelly’s color scheme of coral and gray was echoed throughout the decor alongside fun details like snare drum card holders and a yummy ice cream sundae bar. The couple chose not to have a wedding party, but included their close knit families as Zach’s father performed the ceremony and Kelly’s twin sister gave a heartfelt reading.
What a joyous day for two young hearts to promise forever to each other!
Congrats K/Z and #cheerstothecarringers !
