Fall Wedding in Sevierville,TN
Wedding Venue Change
Sally & Whit’s wedding was originally going to be right outside the Sevier County Courthouse but an event was already booked, so they decided to pivot. Instead, they chose Enchanted Valley Barn. It is situated on 13 picturesque acres and has been in the same family for almost 100 years. It is a beautiful property and was the perfect spot for Sally and Whit’s fall wedding in Sevierville, TN.
Fall is in the Air
It was the first super chilly evening of this fall, and the leaves had changed drastically that week. The bride chose a non-traditional gold sequin dress which contrasted beautifully with the yellow, red and orange leaves. East Tennessee in the fall can put on quite a show. Add a gorgeous bride and groom, and you have a wedding photographer’s dream!
Ugly Cry
It’s ok to ugly cry. I’ve been photographing weddings for 12 years and sometimes I still ugly cry. I photographed Sally’s teenage son as he got choked up when he opened his special gift from his mom. It was a watch with “I love you all the time,” inscribed on the back. I ugly cried. When his little sister watched him walk their mom down the aisle and she was bawling…yep, ugly cry. Again, when my reception lighting was on point..well, you get the picture.
Congrats to you, Mr. and Mrs. Helton! It was a pleasure to capture your wedding day!
