FARRAGUT HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PORTRAITS IN FALL
FARRAGUT SENIOR JORDAN ZAHN
I wish all of my subjects were this incredible in front of the camera! Jordan is a natural; a natural beauty, a natural poser, and just as sweet as pie. This Farragut High School senior chose to wait for fall colors to be in full hue for her senior portraits and I’m so glad. We had gorgeous weather and great light for her session in Knoxville.
SENIOR PICTURES IN AUTUMN GARDENS AND FALL FIELDS
We started out at Knoxville Botanical Gardens where the trees were already yellow, red, and orange. I always have a membership at KBG so I can photograph clients here anytime. Blue and yellow are opposites on the color wheel and her blue clothing was a perfect contrast to the leaves. After that, we trekked to a huge field with tall amber grass in east Knoxville for some different looks. I typically bring a few items along with me like chairs, stool, and a vintage suitcase to have in case the ground is damp or dirty. Jordan sat on my antique suitcase and the worn leather matched the tall grass perfectly. Like it was meant to be!
SHOULD YOU WAIT TILL FALL FOR SENIOR PHOTOS?
There are some great things about waiting until fall for your senior portraits. The weather is much cooler – no one wants sweaty photos! In addition, if you prefer long sleeved clothing, it is easier to find in the fall. Lastly, and most obvious, COLOR! Fall in east Tennessee is really a thing of beauty. Autumn colors in the south provide the perfect backdrop for unforgettable senior pictures.
I’ve been blessed to photograph some awesome seniors this year, and Jordan is no exception. Check out these baby blues! My clients are the best!
