GAME OF THRONES WEDDING STYLED SHOOT
Just a peek in honor of the season 6 finale this Sunday! Back in March I collaborated with Lesley Britt of LB Floral on a Game of Thrones wedding styled shoot. I knew I loved the HBO series and wanted to photograph an inspiration piece based on it, but I didn’t realize how much I would love the way it turned out.
Recreating King’s Landing
There are not many spots in Tennessee where you could recreate a Game of Thrones scene but the gray stone home, walls, and turrets surrounding Knoxville Botanical Gardens was a gorgeous backdrop. Lesley nailed the table scape and decor details with lots of gold accents and jewel tones. Check her out if you need an amazing, out of the box floral designer!
Dragon Eggs
I made the dragon eggs from styrofoam egg shapes and several hundred hand painted thumbtacks. As cool as they ended up looking, I do not recommend it for a borderline OCD personality (like myself).
Pink Bride Magazine Spread
