Kim -n- Jim ~ An Engagement session in Thompson’s Station, TN

Portraits

February 16, 2011

First of all, let me just say I ain’t skeered to dodge cow pies, climb up in a hay loft or fall head first off a hay bale.  This ole girl grew up in the sticks!  Now, outrunning tornadoes…that’s a different story.

Thompson’s Station is not quite the sticks.  In fact, it’s not far at all from Nashville.   Kim & Jim invited me down to shoot their engagement session on the beautiful farm that Jim’s family owns.  The property has been in his family for generations and the home he built even has some of the original wood beams from cabins that stood there in ages past.

We took a few detours to the old Train Depot, Homestead Manor, and the adorable little church where K+J will wed.

Can’t wait for the wedding!
