It’s been a tough week and it’s only Tuesday.

I have been a bit down lately – mommin’ ain’t easy, business ownin’ ain’t easy, doing it all with 2 kids out of school for summer ain’t easy!

I opened my email yesterday to find that one of my images from a recent maternity session at Knoxville Botanical Gardens with Chastin Stinnett was chosen for publication in the July 2019 issue of Shutter Magazine, my favorite photography mag. Just the pick-me-up I needed! This is only the third image I’ve had published in Shutter over the past few years so it’s quite exciting for me.

Chastin chose to wear a stunning red gown with a flowy train to show off her beautiful baby bump.

{Side note: my husband is now a professional train thrower – I have unedited pics to prove it.}

I am humbled, grateful, and just plain happy that someone out there still enjoys my work. And if you need maternity portraits, boudoir sessions, or wedding photography, I know a girl…  =)
