A WEDDING IN THE CLOUDS
Sherry and Bruce chose to marry in the clouds at The Magnolia’s mountaintop event venue. Hailing from Pennsylvania, the couple wanted a Smoky Mountain destination wedding where guests from all over the northeast could relax and have a little southern vacation while celebrating with them. Pigeon Forge was the perfect location.
UT ORANGE WEDDING THEME
When choosing a wedding color scheme, they kept with the traditional Tennessee orange with hints of peach & coral. For example, Bruce wore UT socks, a Big Orange bowtie, & suspenders with his gray suit, and everyone danced to Rocky Top at the reception. They even sang the “Woo!” in the right spot!
BLAKE SHELTON WAS A WEDDING CRASHER
Bruce is a huge Blake Shelton fan, so Sherry brought a life-sized cardboard cut out of the country singer to surprise Bruce in what he thought was the first look with his bride-to-be. His face was priceless! I loved that their entire wedding party was their immediate family, and that they were each walked down the aisle by their grown children. So sweet!
