As a luxury wedding photographer, I have the privilege of documenting weddings in some of the most enchanting venues around the country. However, Tennessee has its privileges when it comes to picturesque wedding venues. There are few places that rival the romantic charm of a fall wedding at Howe Farms Pavilion in Georgetown, TN. Nestled amidst rolling hills, this stunning venue near Chattanooga offers couples an idyllic setting with 360 degree views of the majestic Smoky Mountains.

A Timeless Venue

From the moment I arrived at Howe Farms, I was captivated by its rustic yet sophisticated allure. The property boasts several distinct event spaces, each with its own unique ambiance. Chandler & Brion chose the Pavilion at Five Gables, which perfectly blends classic Southern charm with modern luxury. The bridal suite is equipped with large mirrors, makeup lighting, a wet bar, even massage chairs! Brion and the groomsmen spend their morning in the Bow Tie Club, a paradise for the guys with a poker table, darts, theatre seating, and pool table.

Understated Details

As a result of bad weather, the ceremony was moved indoors. However, the Pavilion’s large glass doors provided beautiful light. The space was adorned with lush, yet understated floral arrangements, crystal chandeliers, and elegantly draped linens. Every element was carefully curated to create an atmosphere of rustic sophistication. From the wildflower table settings to the s’mores & cocoa favors, no detail was overlooked.

The Grand Entrance

Before the ceremony, the bride & groom had a “first touch,” in the bridal suite. They did not see each other, but instead read private vows to each other standing back to back. Next, Chandler descended the Pavilion’s sweeping staircase with her father by her side. The moment was truly magical, and she reminded me of Cinderella.

Romantic Portraits

Next, the couple exchanged vows. Their genuine connection radiated with every click of the camera. The laughter and the tender moments they shared undoubtedly became cherished memories. Have I mentioned yet that I love my job?

Classic Getaway Car

The love that filled the air at Howe Farms was palpable throughout the entire celebration. Additionally, the heartfelt speeches and the energetic dance floor (thanks to Terry’s DJ Services!), created unforgettable memories. Finally, Chandler & Brion exited the reception into a classic convertible Buick Eight amidst cheers and rose petals. It was the perfect way to end the night.
