Waterfall Ceremony
Whittney & Zach are such a sweet couple and I was so happy to photograph their wedding at The Stables, in LaFollette, TN. They were married in front of a beautiful arbor that Zach built himself. What a handy hubby! The arbor stood in front of the same waterfall where Whittney’s sister was also married at The Stables. (If you would like more information about this venue, please let me know.) There are so many beautiful spots to shoot photos around the rolling hills of this 530 acre property–once the heat is bearable, of course!
Tennessee Valley Sunset
It was a super hot day. So hot that we decided to forfeit all photos until after the 6pm ceremony which was fortuitous since the sky turned beautiful sunset colors for us. Even in the heat, the bridesmaids rocked their sleek black sequin gowns with draped backs from White Lace & Promises. The bride wore her sister’s fabulous rhinestone studded Benjamin Adams heels as her something borrowed. I remember wanting to steal those shoes 6 years ago! And a huge shout out to Whittney’s uncle who provided us with a Honda Pioneer 1000 ATV to tote us around.
Florals by Sam Franklin
As always, Samuel Franklin’s florals were top notch. The ceremony & reception overflowed with beautiful hydrangeas, peonies and roses in white, peaches and pinks adorning the cake, lanterns, tables and ceremony chandelier.
Firework Send-off
The reception ended with sparklers and fireworks as a celebratory send-off to this precious bride and groom. Congrats, you guys!
