I am trying hard to get all the last minute things done before I begin maternity leave next week and I couldn’t forget to blog this special maternity photo session. Of course, all maternity sessions are special, but this is Jaime and Ed–my dear friends who have also dealt with their own fertility problems.
I had not seen Jaime in awhile, so when I was in Nashville this summer, we had lunch. I had some big news to tell her, but little did I know she had big news too! As we caught up, Jaime announced, “I’m pregnant!” All I could do was squeal, “Me too!” As we hugged and cried, she explained that she was due March 22nd. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I said again, “ME TOO!!!!” Not only were we both pregnant (FINALLY!) and due the same day, we found out later that we were both expecting little girls. How fun! I was so excited to attend her baby shower at Street Theatre Company, which Jaime is actively involved with. **Support local theatre as much as you can, folks!**
All my love to you guys and baby M–I can’t wait to meet her. And here’s to having babies together, overcoming heartache, and answered prayers. xoxo
