Hollyfield Manor Wedding in Richmond, Virginia
Today I am excited to share Amber and Michael’s beautiful fall Hollyfield Manor wedding in Richmond, VA. Hollyfield Manor is a stunning 18th century plantation home rich with history, 1,000 acres of farmland, barns, a 28 acre lake and a brand new reception facility just outside of Richmond, Virginia. It was the perfect venue for this sweet couple who met at a brewery and moved to New York City together while Amber finished grad school. They have a cute proposal story that reminds me of my own…
“We go to dinner, and despite the restaurant being fairly empty, they seat a couple right next to us. Anyone who knows me knows I really don’t like attention in daily life, so as soon as Michael started to pull the ring out, my immediate reaction was, “NO!……not here.” Michael hearing NO probably gave him a heart attack, but he gave me his “ok fine” look and proposed outside after dinner so it was just the two of us. (I’m spoiled).” – Amber
Ha! Thinking back to when my husband proposed to me, my first words were, “NO WAY! Are you sure? No. Way.” Poor guy probably thought I was telling him no too.
Amber and Michael said “I do,” on their 4 year dating anniversary overlooking Hollyfield Pond surrounded by the vibrant colors of fall that only Virginia can display. These two are so adorably in love and it was such fun to capture their emotions all day! Enjoy!
