Vol For Life, or #vfl is something one will hear and see quite often here in Knoxville. And when your blood truly runs orange, it flows into every aspect of your life, even your wedding.
Ashley & Brad included their love for the University of Tennessee Volunteers into their fall wedding at Legacy Springs Event Center with orange flowers, decor, an orange and white checkerboard dance floor, and a huge Neyland Stadium groom’s cake. Even Ashley and her bridesmaid’s shoes were orange and white Tom’s. As their photographer and fellow fan, I felt right at home!
Since Brad and his guys were arriving at the venue already dressed and photo ready, I was able to spend the morning with Ashley and her bridesmaids at Pure Luxe Salon and Spa while they got pampered with hair, makeup, and mimosas. AND I got to hear more about her groom-to-be…
“He is the sweetest, most honest, sincere human in my life! He will always lead me and has always pushed me to be a woman of God. He makes me a better Mother and now wife! I cant wait to see what our future holds and the love that we have grow!” ~Ashley

Favorite and least favorite part of planning?
“My favorite part of planning was florist!!! I love Lisa and she helped me get a vision that I had none of prior to meeting with her. She made my day perfect! My least favorite part I didn’t have one… I loved every minute!”
Most memorable part of the day?
“My most memorable part was the selfie at the alter that Brad Bull (officiant) used as a lead up to the service and pic at end of service of everyone there. Because it was a complete surprise and its hard to surprise me! Also, the look on my husband’s face during the first look! I love that we captured this moment!”
What would you change, if anything?
“I wouldn’t change a thing, with the love of all my friends and family, along with great vendors! They all made me feel loved and like a princess!”
Where was your budget best spent?
“Money is best spent on Photographer and DJ!!! I wouldn’t change either!”
Any advice for future brides?
“Breathe because the day will be perfect and it will all fall in place. Enjoy the moment with your husband and your family and closest friends!”
