Faith and Zach’s summer wedding at The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm had some of the most beautiful flowers and reception decor I have seen this year with shades of pink, green and white filling the Pavilion. Props to Nancy Barger at Swank Floral!
Bride Tribe in Satin Robes
I started the day with the girls getting beautified at their hotel while my 2nd shooter hung out with the boys at the Farm. The ladies sipped mimosas in their matching satin floral robes before having a jump on the bed with little flower girl, Miss London.
First Touch instead of a First Look
Faith and Zach chose to do a first touch & prayer before the ceremony instead of a first look. So sweet! We did as many bridal party and family photos beforehand as we could. Although steamy, (hey, it’s the South!) the weather was perfectly sunny. Zach was all smiles as his stunning bride walked down the aisle to promise forever.
Beach Photos in Tennessee!
After the ceremony and formal family photos, we headed to the sandy beach for photos with the bride and groom just as the sun started to set and give us that yummy, golden light. Faith and Zach’s reception began soon after with dinner, an ice cream sundae bar, and freshly baked cookie favors from Ham ‘n Goodys. As if I didn’t have a hard enough time getting through an entire wedding day without crying, Faith’s dad told the heart-wrenching story of her and her twin sister’s premature birth and subsequent miracle recovery in a tearful toast. It was more than this 8 month pregnant lady could bear! Luckily my tears turned to laughter once all the Kappa Delta ladies took over the dance floor.
Doctors to Be
It was a day to remember, full of laughter and family. Faith and Zach have an awesome circle of support and love. There is no doubt they will both succeed as they finish medical school.
