Kellie & Nic shared more than a porch as neighbors while they were both in grad school at East Tennessee State University. They actually share the same birthday! Fast forward a few years and many dates later, Nic proposed to Kellie at the top of a fire tower in Erwin, TN.
Their wedding at The Farm – A Gathering Place, just outside of Asheville, NC, truly showcased Kellie’s love for the outdoors and horses. And those beautiful dahlias from Two Buds and a Blossom! They were as big as my head!

Favorite & least favorite part of planning?
“Least favorite part of planning, I really struggled with picking out my dress and the bridesmaid dresses. I’m not super girly and don’t know what looks good with what so I had some difficulties.”
Most memorable part of the wedding?
“I really think the whole wedding went well. I can’t think of anything I would change. It was great to see old friends and I loved seeing Nic’s face at the alter.”
Anything you would change?
“Wouldn’t change anything.”
Where was your budget best spent?
“Budget was best spent on Venue and Caterer.”
Any advice for other brides?
“Do what you want …. It’s your day.”
