The club has huge terraces overlooking the mountains, beautiful arches, and an amazing stone wine tower which all provide for breathtaking wedding photos. There are several ballrooms and meeting rooms to choose from to ensure your party area is perfect.

Jenna and Payton’s wedding at The Club at Flying Horse in Colorado Springs, CO, had one of the most gorgeous backdrops I’ve even seen. The ceremony took place in the club’s courtyard overlooking the golf course with Pikes Peak in the background. We had clear blue skies and a soft, steady breeze the entire morning!
Father Knows Best
Jenna’s father was Payton’s disciple mentor while he was attending the Air Force Academy. After suggesting they chat, Payton messaged Jenna via Instagram. After a few months, they decided to become a couple. Even though Jenna was attending college in Nebraska, they made the long distance work.
How They Knew
Jenna knew Payton was the one because of “his character and overall gentleness.” How did Payton know? He says, “As much as I’d love to tell when I first knew that I loved Jenna, I instead must take from Austen and say that, ‘I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation… I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.’” And I attribute this wholly to the Creator working in both of our lives before we could ever know what He was doing.” How sweet is that?
The Proposal
After Thanksgiving break, Payton flew back to Colorado where Jenna picked him up. After a meal together and visiting the coffee shop where they first met, Payton proposed in their favorite park. The rest, as they say, is history (in the making).
