DESTINATION WEDDING AT MOOSE HOLLOW LODGE

Mandy and Neil chose an intimate, family centered destination wedding at Moose Hollow Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN. Moose Hollow Lodge is one of the largest cabin rentals in the Smokies. It has it’s own chapel, indoor pool, and movie theatre. The Lodge can sleep up to 56 people! It is a great venue if you want to keep all of your friends and family onsite. SMOKY SMOKIES

The Smoky Mountains lived up to their name with plenty of fog and yucky spring weather, but Simple Bliss Events had us covered (literally) with clear umbrellas – perfect for wedding photos in the rain! Mandy decided to save her first look with Neil for the aisle, but she had a pre-ceremony first look with her son who also sang their wedding song during the ceremony – cue the tears!

PRIVATE CHAPEL ONSITE

Moose Hollow Lodge’s private chapel is adjacent to the cabin. It has a rustic feel and beautiful stained glass at the altar. After Mandy and Neil recited vows in the chapel surrounded by their children and family, we braved the weather for outdoor photos. Luckily, they were up for photos in the rain, because Mother Nature gave us little else that day! It all worked out – we had some epic stormy skies.

BOUQUETS & BASEBALLS

My favorite details were the neutral bouquets and ranunculus boutonnieres. Guests signed a baseball instead of a traditional guest book and the kiddos’ wedding party gifts were custom baseball bats to commemorate the day.
