Today, I hope you enjoy April and Tyler’s The Lodge at Brother’s Cove wedding. Here in east Tennessee, we have our share of scenic wedding/event venues and The Lodge at Brother’s Cove is no exception. The lodge itself is nestled among the majestic Smoky Mountains along with dozens of cabins so brides, grooms, and all their guests can stay close. For that reason, April and Tyler chose the Smokies for their Pigeon Forge, TN destination wedding.
The Proposal
Hailing from Louisiana, the two grew up close to each other but never met until their 20’s. April knew Tyler was the one when she found herself eager to introduce him to her family. They share a love of hunting, fishing and traveling together. On a hiking trip to the Grand Canyon, Tyler asked April to be his wife:
“He had to ask me twice because I was in shock and shaking. It was a day and trip we will never forget.” – April
Planning with a Twist!
Not wanting a long engagement, they started planning the wedding right away. And then, to their surprise, they found out April was expecting! Brother’s Cove was the perfect spot for them and their 20 guests. Mother Nature provided a gorgeous day with mild temps and one of the most stunning mountain sunsets I have ever seen.
