Brittany + Chase’s

Wedding at Sampson’s Hollow in Walland, TN

Pergola in the Meadow

After what felt like a week straight of rain, Brittany and Chase had lovely weather for their Smoky Mountain wedding at Sampson’s Hollow in Walland, TN. Situated on 120 acres of lush rolling hills, this rustic venue sits in the quiet shadow of Cades Cove, right next door to Blackberry Farm. Brittany and Chase chose the Pergola in the Meadow as their ceremony site.

Long Distance Relationship

Brittany & Chase met through their parents who grew up together. While Brittany was in college at USC, she and Chase began a long distance relationship. After graduating, she moved to Tennessee to be with him.

“I fell in love with Chase for many reasons, but the one that stands out to me is his commitment to our relationship. He used to drive almost every weekend to see me when we were long distance, and to this day continues to tackle every hurdle that we face together.” – Brittany

Proposal with Puppies

I always like to hear the proposal story. Not being one to like lots of attention, Chase proposed to Brittany at the top of a private waterfall with the help of their 2 pups! How sweet!

Here is a look into their day full of emerald green accents and baby’s breath bouquets. They carried the natural, rustic vibe throughout with an engraved tree theme including the invitation, cake, cake topper, and guest sign-in canvas. Guests enjoyed playing corn hole, lounging by the warm fire pit, and dancing the night away.

A few words from the bride, Brittany:

Favorite part of planning?
Getting to make the vision of our wedding come to life.
Least favorite part?
Having to search out vendors.
Most memorable part of the day?
The most memorable moment of our wedding day was when I made eye contact with Chase when I walked down the aisle and when we said our vows to one another.
Anything you would change?
I wouldn’t change a thing except having the day last longer!
Where was your budget best spent?
Our budget was best spent on a venue that included a package with a wedding planner and finding an amazing photographer!
Any advice for future brides?
Enjoy every moment. From planning the wedding, to getting to live it because it’s all over in the blink of an eye and you will wish you could relive the day over and over!
