Winter Destination Wedding in the Smoky Mountains
Weddings at The Lodge at Brother’s Cove
Emily & Damian came all the way from Florida to celebrate their union with family & friends. They chose The Lodge at Brother’s Cove in Pigeon Forge, TN, for their winter destination wedding in the Smoky Mountains. The Lodge is nestled amongst 450 acres of Tennessee’s stunning natural beauty with over 50 luxurious cabins to house guests. It’s the perfect venue for a mountaintop destination wedding!
Super Bowl to Salsa Class
The couple met at a Super Bowl party and Damian soon started taking Salsa classes from his favorite instructor, Emily. The two became close friends, talking endlessly on the phone and growing closer. Eventually the two knew they were in love and took the next steps to make it official. Damian proposed on Emily’s grandmother’s birthday as their mother’s & grandma watched. The rest is history!
New Year’s Day Destination Wedding
The New Year’s Day weather was chilly and a little gloomy but the clouds always make for dramatic photos! Emily chose deep reds, wine, and burgundy colors for the decor which went perfectly with the season. I loved all the meaningful details: photos of loved ones pinned onto her bouquet, a “Tale as Old as Time,” ring box, and a special birthday cake just for her grandmother!
Gazebo Ceremony & Lodge Reception
Emily & Damian held their ceremony outside at the Gazebo overlooking the Smokies. After photos, the party moved inside the Lodge reception hall which has floor to ceiling windows on all sides to continue the panoramic mountain view. Guests enjoyed dinner, cake, truffles, and custom luggage tag favors. Salsa dancing continued all night!
